Job Requirements:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures in line with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and assess compliance risks, and design and implement appropriate controls to mitigate identified risks.
  • Conduct AML/CTF customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence, and ongoing monitoring in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Investigate unusual or suspicious transactions and prepare timely reports to relevant regulatory authorities.
  • Provide guidance and advisory support to internal departments onAML/CTF obligations, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Develop and deliver mandatory AML/CTF training to employees, ensuring ongoing awareness and regulatory compliance.
  • Stay current on changes to AML/CTF regulations and proactively advise senior management on potential impacts to the organisation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to continuously enhance the compliance framework while supporting a positive customer experience.
  • Conduct compliance reviews of internal controls and processes, report findings, and recommend corrective actions to senior management.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports, filings, and documentation in accordance with regulatory authority requirements.
  • Manage relationships with regulators and ensure accurate, timely responses to regulatory inquiries and examinations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Compliance, Business, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or professional certification in compliance or AML/CTF is an advantage).
  • 3-5 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, preferably within a compliance function.
  • Strong desire to learn, grow, and develop within the compliance and regulatory field.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English, with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a multicultural environment and adapting to diverse challenges.
